How can I get the new service tag to put it in? This does not seem to work on the E and above. My Latitude E, because the Bios password I need to change the service tag. I confirm, it's working for Dell Latitude D Since a few months, it was a headache to change parameters protected by the administrative password which I don't know but now, thanks to your link, the problem is solved by changing the Service Tag, and, I am able, now, to set all parameters inside the Bios.
